Support a Non-Discrimination Ordinance in Smyrna

The Smyrna United task force for diversity and inclusion is working to pass a non-discrimination ordinance to protect ALL citizens.

The Smyrna United task force for diversity and inclusion is a citizen-led task force working to respond to Smyrna's increasing diversity by creating a more inclusive and welcoming community that recognizes and celebrates all cultures and backgrounds.

Currently, we are in the process of proposing a non-discrimination ordinance (NDO). Cities around the country are creating NDOs to ensure that all citizens are protected from discrimination & know the city is serious about inclusion and will actively work to rectify situations in which discrimination occurs. Smyrna would be the 6th city in Georgia to pass such an ordinance. City council is already discussing the NDO, but they would like to see community support, especially from business owners and organizations. Please help us by signing our petition!

Visit bit.ly/ndo_smyrna to sign the petition, or visit bit.ly/ndoflyer to see an informational flyer which, along with the link, can be shared with others.
