Bramblett "grew up playing soul music" in Jesup, Ga. His hero was James Brown, but he also had a lot of Ray Charles and some jazz influences. Those influences are evident throughout the eleven cuts that make up the new record, along with the aforementioned Beatles and psychedelic elements. Another major influence on Bramblett's songwriting was Bob Dylan and he attributes rock's poet laureate with opening a new lyrical path for him.

"These guys are steaming up Hotlanta with their ragtime, dirty jazz sound, a throwback to the sultry, seedy, and sexy invoked by their 1920s era theme of cabaret and vaudeville." (Nadia Lelutiu)  So popular was Crimmins' first performance at the Candlelite Concerts in 2011, they were a Must Return for 2012. Don't miss them!

Kayla Taylor and Steve Moore have been in bands together for 12 years. They have several CDs out. Ms. Taylor grew up singing standards in the school chorus and gospel tunes in the choir. Although she has performed country music, gospel, R&B and classic and original rock 'n' roll, Kayla says, "I love what we are doing right now. I love the jazz and standards from the 1940's and 1950's. An original New Yorker, Moore is now settled in Atlanta. He began playing guitar at 14, after studying and playing trumpet since the age of eight. Steve has had a life long passion for unlocking the seemingly unlimited layers of mystery veiled in the music of jazz.

Ian Nathanson founded MEN IN BLUES back in 2001, and it's been going strong ever since! Classically trained on clarinet and soulfully trained on guitar and vocals, Ian has been into music from a young age. Whilst studying clarinet around 1976, Ian picked up the guitar and started jamming with records and other musician friends. Ian's now been performing live shows around the Northeast and Southeast for over 25 years. When Ian's not rocking the house, he teaches music in Cobb County Schools!
