Atlanta Hawks Basketball Clinic a Slam Dunk
The Atlanta Hawks hosted a free basketball clinc on Tuesday for children at the South Cobb Recreation Center.
Children in South Cobb had a chance to participate in the sixth annual Atlanta Hawks Kia Summer Hoops Tour on Tuesday at the .
The clinic was the first of 20 that will be offered throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
The clinics will focus on education, dedication, teamwork and responsibility along with helping players improve their basketball skills. Participants in the clinics will receive a basketball jersey and drawstring bag courtesy of KMA and the Atlanta Hawks.

Although no Atlanta Hawks players were present for the event, since the majority of them live elsewhere during the offseason, six members of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Development Team were on hand to coach the children.
