Block Party Set For Tuesday In South Cobb

AUSTELL, GA -- It might be a school night in Cobb County, but hey, a party's a party. The public is invited to come out on Tuesday, August 8 for the Public Safety Education Block Party in Austell.

Participating organizations that will be on the scene include the Austell police and fire departments, 911 staffers, the Community Emergency Response Team, and Animal Control. Community groups on hand will include the Austell Community Task Force, the neighborhood Safety Commission, SafeKids Cobb County, National Night Out Against Crime and We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association.

The event's location is South Cobb Recreation Center, 975 Six Flags Drive, Austell.
