Brittion Smith Honored at Belhaven University

South Cobb Patch recognizes the achievements of young people from South Cobb

  The Belhaven University Athletic Department celebrated the achievements of their student athletes during the Excellence in Athletics Day on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Center for the Arts Concert Hall.

This semi-annual event is held to honor students who excel in both athletics and academics. Over 100 students were recognized for earning a 3.0 GPA for the past semester.

Brittion Smith from Austell, GA was honored during the program. Smith is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science from Belhaven University and is on the Blazers Basketball team.

Belhaven stands among the select Christian colleges and universities that offer a unique general core curriculum encouraging the development of a personal worldview. The university believes a Christian worldview is a key to preparing men and women academically and spiritually to serve Christ Jesus in their careers, in human relationships, and in the world of ideas.
