Chipper Jones To Sign Copies Of His New Book At Cumberland

SOUTH COBB, GA -- Former Atlanta Braves star Chipper Jones will sign copies of his new book on Friday, April 14, at the Barnes & Noble Cumberland in Atlanta.

Jones' book "Ballplayer," which was co-written with ex-Atlanta Journal Constitution writer Carrol Rogers, was released Tuesday.

Although the book signing starts at 1 p.m., attendees will get wristbands, available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the purchase of a book beginning at 8 a.m.

Jones, a perennial all-star Major Leaguer who spent his entire 19-year career with the Braves, is regarded as one of the greatest switch-hitters in baseball history.

There is a two-book limit per person. "Ballplayer" is published by Penguin Publishing Group subsidiary Dutton. The book is in book stores and available for download.
