Drive-Thru Food Pantry Scheduled At South Cobb Library
The food pantry event will take place outdoors next week on a first-come, first-served basis.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County residents can get free food at one of the county libraries next week.
The South Cobb Regional Library will host a drive-thru food pantry event March 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or while supplies last, according to a press release. The event is in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Cobb County Public Library officials will stage the free, outdoor event at the Mableton library with support from Cobb government colleagues, the release said. One package of 20 pounds of food will be distributed per family on a first-come, first-served basis.
