Ga. Highway 92 To Close For Railroad Crossing Repairs

EAST COBB, GA -- Repairs along a major Cobb and Fulton County thoroughfare will likely mean traffic delays, Patch has learned. A railroad crossing at Ga. 92 near Main Street in Woodstock will be closed for a whole weekend next month, transit officials announced this week.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said the road will be shut down beginning Friday, June 16 at 11 a.m. to Monday, June 19 at 5 a.m. to repair the crossing.

Traffic will be detoured, officials said. In case of bad weather, the repairs will be postponed and rescheduled for the weekend beginning June 23.
