The Riverside community is occupied by 55 percent of residents who are renters. The apartment complexes in the area with the most issues are the older apartments, and have high turnover in management and ownership in the last 5 years. Residents are paying $800-$1200 a month for rent, which is more than 50 percent of their household. This issue about maintenance at multi family complexes is not a Riverside Issue this is a Cobb issue. Housing for people who make less than $24,000 year is not provided, yet there are companies in Cobb County that pay less than $24,000 a year. Marietta Housing authority provides only 5000 vouchers a year for housing, the wait list is not open and when it opens it is a 2 year or more wait if you are lucky enough to get on the list.Thank You,Monica DeLancy
