In Loving Memory of Dorothy Stegall Dodgen, 88

Dorothy Stegall Dodgen was born on August 4, 1926 and died on April 13, 2015. A native of Atlanta, and a graduate of Atlanta Girls High, she attended Georgia State Evening College. Her working years were spent in the insurance industry, retiring as a property and casualty agent. She volunteered at WellStar Cobb Hospital for over 30 years and served as President of their Auxiliary. Mrs. Dodgen served on the boards of Sweetwater Valley Community Action Mission Program and AARP. She was an elder at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and a current member of Light of Hope Presbyterian Church, Marietta. Dorothy was preceded in death her husband Bill Dodgen, her son Mac Rambo, and her daughter Linda Ream.She is survived by daughters: Judy Perkins of Austell, Phyllis Macke of Nashville, TN, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Her family will receive friends at White Columns Chapel from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2015. Pastor Edwin Gonzales-Gertz and Rev. Bert Carmicheal will be officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.
