In Loving Memory of Lattie Mathis Nicholson Holt, 96

Lattie Mathis Nicholson Holt, age 96, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Holt worked through all her life . She worked at Bell Air Craft now known as Lockheed as a Rosie Riveter during WW II, she worked at White Provision Packing Company for 18 years, then she worked at Big Apple, she also worked at Sheperds Grocery Store, her last job was at Big Lots where she worked in retail as a sales clerk for eight years, retired at the age of 83 and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, in Powder Springs. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Nicholson in 1966 and her second husband J.N. Holt in 1981; her mother and father, Alden Chapman Mathis and Roland R. Mathis; brothers Wilbur Mathis, L.C. Mathis, Weldon Mathis, W.L. Mathis, and Gene Mathis; and sister-in-law, Myrtle Mathis. Mrs Lattie is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Cole, of Stone Mountain; sister-in-law, Janice Mathis; three grandchildren, Alice Lovette, Merrilyn Romagura, and Jeffrey Cole; nine great grandchildren, Lindsey Lovette-Sneed, Trey Lovette, Lesley Lovette, Cole, Kirsten and Kali Romaguera, and Tyler, Josh, and Justin Cole; two great great grandchildren, Carson and Carrington Sneed, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at White Columns Chapel in Mabelton, followed by interment at Arlington Memorial Park at 2:30 pm.
