In Loving Memory of Lillian Christine Wilkerson, 92

Lillian Christine Wilkerson, age 92, of Austell, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She is preceeded in death by her husband Robert Lee Wilkerson in April of 1999 and her parents Thomas Jefferson Smith and Annie Lee Thompson. Mrs Wilkerson was a native of LaGrange, Georgia, she worked as a nurse aid at LaGrange/Troup Co. Hospital and in 1962 the family moved to Cobb County and she continued to work as a nurse aid at Cobb General now known as Wellstar Cobb Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in her native city of LaGrange. Survivors include daughters Peggy Ann Pope of Lithia Springs, Georgia and Jane Wilkerson Bradley of Temple, Georgia, one son, Julian “Bubba” and wife Gwen Wilkerson of Mableton Georgia, 2 sisters, Pearl Anderson of Mableton, Georgia and Bessie Williams os Spartanburg, South Carolina, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends on Friday 6 to 8 PM at White Columns Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM.

Reassemble at 2:30 PM at Shadowlawn LaGrange City Cemetery for interment.
