In Loving Memory of Sandra Joan Farlow, 71

Sandra Joan Farlow, age 71, of Austell passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born to Richard and Martha Yarborough in Boldo, Alabama. As a child she was part of Eastern Star “Demalay”.

Mrs. Farlow was the owner of Smyrna Playskool for 22 years. It was the most rewarding and fulfilling thing she ever did. She was still receiving Christmas cards from the children and kept in touch with them.

She loved to sew, and had a puppy “Abizanda” otherwise known as “Zan” that absolutely adored her.

Preceded in death by her father, as well as her husband, Roger C. Farlow. Survivors include; her son, Roger “Kyle” Farlow of Austell; her mother, Martha Stricklin Yarborough of Austell; brother, Richard “Ric” (Jacki) Yarborough of Marietta; sister, Debra (Sam) Herston of Colorado; nieces, Amy (Michael) Bishop of Acworth, Jessica Herston of Colorado; nephews, Ben (Megan) Herston of California, Bryan Herston of Colorado, and five grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at White Columns Funeral Chapel in Mableton. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00PM-9:00PM at White Columns Chapel.
