Sue Parker Harley, age 83, of Mableton passed away on Friday November 7, 2014 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Mrs. Harley was born to John Parker and Nellie McGukin Parker in Haralson County Bremen, Georgia. She was one of six children.

Mrs. Harley graduated from Bowden High School and later met John Harley. The couple married on May 10, 1958 and moved to Cobb County. They had three children together, Wayne, Sterling, and Alice. They were later blessed with seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harley was a beloved member of Austell First United Methodist Church on Mulberry Street. She found encouragement from reading her bible regularly.

Mrs. Harley enjoyed her word searches, watching game shows, reading on her kindle, and dining.
Sue Parker Harley is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Harley; son, Johnny “Wayne” Harley; parents, John and Nellie Parker; and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Sterling C. Harley and his wife, J.J., of Powder Springs; daughter, Alice Harley-Wosnig and her husband, James Wosnig, of Mableton; seven grandchildren, Windy, Paul, Kory, Lateisha, Tiffany, Buck, and Bronson; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014 and again Sunday until service time at White Columns Chapel in Mableton. Funeral Services will be held at2:30 PM Sunday, November 9, 2014 in the funeral home’s chapel with Rev. Mark Jordan and Pastor Michael Martin officiating and musical selections by Greg Jordan. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton.
