Man Dies After Becoming Pinned Between Work Trucks In Cobb
An employee of Unity Southern Environmental business was killed over the weekend when he was pinned between 2 work trucks in Austell.
SOUTH COBB, GA -- A Cobb County man was killed in a bizarre accident recently in South Cobb, authorities said. The incident occurred on private property in the 7100 block of Delta Circle in Austell.
Information from a preliminary investigation indicates that two workers of the Unity Southern Environmental were standing between two trucks they had just moved, Cobb police said in a news release. One of the trucks rolled into the other one, pinning one of the employees. The worker has been identified as 53-year-old Gregory L. Goffredo Sr. of Austell, police said.

Goffredo died at the scene from his injuries, authorities said. Cobb police said that no charges are expected to be filed, but anyone with information which may assist investigators with it is asked to call (770) 499-3987.
