National Pet Day: These Animals Found In Cobb Need Forever Homes
In honor of National Pet Day, here are some animals in Cobb County that would love to join your family.

SOUTH COBB, GA -- If you're an animal lover, you can't help but feel for the scores of lost pets and strays that sit in area adoption centers. Your local animal control or humane society is the perfect place to find an animal for your family.
While we can be cognizant of animals in need every day, Tuesday marks National Pet Day, so we thought we'd share some cute furry friends in need of forever homes.
As many as 6.5 million pets enter animal shelters nationwide every year, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Those numbers are split even among dogs and cats, the group says.
