Police Seek Accused Arsonist In Cobb

Police say the accused intentionally lit fire to the multi-family dwelling, displacing some of the residents.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Authorities are looking for a man they say committed felony arson in Austell, according to the Cobb County Department of Public Safety.

The release from the department says Tovoris Chester is accused of first degree arson and endangerment.

Chester, 24, is 6-foot-1 and weighs 285 pounds, police say.

Authorities say in the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 8, somebody intentionally set a fire in a multi-family building in Chroma Park Apartments at 2105 Mesa Valley Way. Police say multiple people were displaced by the fire.

Anybody with information on the incident or whereabouts of Chester is asked to call police at 770-499-3869.
