Scores Displaced After Apartment Fire In South Cobb

SOUTH COBB, GA -- Scores of people have been displaced after a fire tore through an apartment complex in Austell, authorities said. The Red Cross was on the scene Tuesday morning assisting tenants, the agency said.

The blaze occurred at the Villas of Riverside Apartments in the 600 block of Whisper Trail, where the Cobb County Fire Department reported that nearly 30 units were damaged.
