"The Career Academy can provide an alternative educational opportunity for all students including those not planning to attend college, but seeking alternative career paths in health care, IT, logistics, and a host of careers related to science, technology, engineering, and math," according to a post on the Austell Community Taskforce's Facebook page.Â
The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. at the South Cobb Community Center, 620 Lions Club Dr. SW, Austell.
In addition to Swinney, Austell resident and business consultant Lawrence King will be among the featured guests, according to the Facebook post.
