What: Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Where: SunTrust Park, Smyrna
When: July 4, 7:20 pm
Come early to enjoy special pregame ceremonies and activities at SunTrust Park, followed by a fireworks show high above the ballpark after the game.

What: City of Marietta 4th of July Celebration
Where: Marietta Square
When: Festivities begin at 10 am
The City of Marietta's 4th in the Park Celebration begins Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 10 am and includes a parade, free live concerts, museum tours, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.

  • 10 am -- Let Freedom Ring Parade
  • 10 am-9 pm -- Festival, Arts & Crafts, Kid's Zone, Festival Food, Free Concerts
  • Noon -- Concert featuring Scott Thompson
  • 2 pm -- Bell Ringing Ceremony
  • 2:30 pm -- Concert featuring Atlanta Concert Band
  • 7 pm -- Concert featuring Chris Stalcup
  • 8-9:30 pm Concert featuring A1A

Where: Six Flags Over Georgia
When: July 2, 3, and 4. 9:30 pm each night.

What: AJC Peachtree Road Race
Where: Begins in Buckhead, ends in Midtown
When: Morning of July 4
Held annually on July 4 in Atlanta, the AJC Peachtree Road Race is the largest running event in the United States and the world's largest 10K.

What: Centennial Olympic Park July 4 fireworks
Where: Downtown Atlanta
When: Gates open at 6 pm
For years, both downtown's Centennial Olympic Park park and Buckhead's Lenox Square hosted their own fireworks celebrations, but in 2017, the park and the Georgia World Congress Center Authority began partnering with Lenox Square management to combine their shows. Gates to the park open at 6 pm and the event is free. Downtown parking will doubtless be limited, and attendees are highly encouraged to take MARTA, whose closest stops to the park are Five Points, Peachtree Center and CNN Center/State Farm Arena/Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

What: Fantastic Fourth Celebration
Where: Memorial Lawn at Stone Mountain Park
When: Fireworks display following the Lasershow Spectacular. July 1-7. 9:30 p.m.
