A State of Our Schools Community Forum will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the South Cobb Recreation Center, 875 Six Flags Drive, Austell, Ga. The event will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., and will feature School Board Representative, Mr. David Morgan, who will discuss the College and Career Performance Index (CCRPI) for Georgia public schools, local high school graduation rates, and recent school leadership changes.Parent leaders will present information about school/home partnerships and will recruit new members for school and community parent councils. In addition Cobb County Commissioner Mrs. Lisa Cupid will give updates on on the South Cobb community vision. All parents and caregivers of students attending a South Cobb public school, as well as interested stakeholders are urged to attend.
