Atlanta Ballet's Wabi Sabi - Dance in the Garden

Wabi Sabi, Atlanta Ballet's dancer-driven contemporary troupe, will be performing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden during its weekly cocktails event this Thursday at 6 p.m. Performances are free with admission to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

11U Mableton Mayhem Baseball TRYOUTS

A new 11U travel baseball team is being formed in Mableton, and is looking for players for all positions. The team will initially start competing at the AA level with plans to move to AAA for Spring 2014.

Tryouts are scheduled as below:

• 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16: Registration, parent discussion, and light workout
• 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Aug. 17: General skills tryout
• 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18: Final skills review

Southern Order of Storytellers Cobb Meeting

Casey Wallace, a 16-year-old National Teller, will be a special guest at the Southern Order of Storytellers' Cobb Cluster meeting at Smyrna Public Library Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
