WellStar Offering Free Screenings Friday

Screenings will include glucose, cholesterol, bone density, and more.

WellStar Community Education & Outreach will offer free health screenings at South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road in Mableton, on Friday, September 4, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The South Cobb library health screening event is part of the Cobb County Public Library System’s Falls Prevention Awareness initiative. Throughout September, the Library System is hosting falls prevention programs with community partners designed to engage the public with resources for addressing the costly falls issue and related health and safety concerns.

The five health screenings by WellStar for adults age 18 and up at the South Cobb library event will include:

· Blood Pressure

· Total Cholesterol

· Bone Density

· Body Mass Index (BMI)

No registration required – walk-ins encouraged.
