Cameta Hibbert is accused of leaving a Chihuahua in a hot car outside a Walmart in Acworth, according to reports.

ACWORTH, GA -- An Acworth mother was arrested after allegedly leaving a dog in a hot SUV outside a store earlier this month, Patch has learned. Although another adult and a number of children were with her, Cameta Hibbert was booked into the Cobb Detention Center, according to news reports.

In the July 11 incident, Coco the Chihuahua's yelping and panting outside the Walmart on Cobb Parkway was seen by a passerby, who waited 20 minutes before calling authorities, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
