2 DeKalb Schools Locked Down After Shooting: Reports
A drug-related shooting at a local gas station led to the lockdown, say media reports.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — Two DeKalb County schools were placed on lockdown Thursday morning following a shooting at a local gas station, according to media reports. The 21-year-old victim, who was shot in the back, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The lockdowns were imposed at 8 a.m. at Hambrick Elementary School and Stone Mountain High School and lifted a short time later, a schools spokesman said.
The shooting occurred at a Chevron station on North Hairston Road, less than a mile from the two schools, a DeKalb police spokeswoman told the AJC. Police said the incident was drug-related, the newspaper reported.
