Neither rain, nor gloom nor Sundays will keep U.S. Postal Service carriers off the job this holiday season.

The service plans to deliver packages to Stone Mountain, Lithonia and other parts of the Atlanta region on Sundays through Christmas.

The agency, which already has a partnership with Amazon.com for Sunday deliveries, says it will deliver to major cities and other high-volume areas seven days a week starting this week and running through Christmas Day.
