Alumni News: Local Students Make the Grade

A rundown on who got what: 

• Teri Williams has been named to the Fall 2013 Dean's List at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga. Williams, whose major is Nursing, is from Lithonia.
• Fredrick Howard of Stone Mountain completed courses with exemplary marks and made the Honors List for the Fall 2013 semester at Louisburg College. 
• Christine Fredericks of Stone Moutain recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Fredericks earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Marketing and Management.
• Quindoline Bryant of Stone Mountain graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Arts during winter commencement exercises Friday, Dec. 13.
• Fakhria Hussain of Stone Mountain graduated from Berry College with a BS degree in Child & Family Studies.
• Reinhardt University announced 402 students have been named to the Dean's List for fall semester 2013. The following local residents were among those named: Katherine Keokanya and Jeremy Sheppard of Lithonia; and Rickie Little of Stone Mountain.
• The following students, all from Stone Mountain, completed courses with exemplary marks and made the Dean's List for the 2013 fall semester at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga., announced President Steve Dorman: Casey Braun; Jayce Chrisman; John Crowley; Rebecca Hartle; MiChel'le Hull; Hodges Willis; and Victoria Perret.
