Amazon Hiring 1,000 Workers For New DeKalb Warehouse

Amazon says the warehouse is expected to be operational before the holiday season.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Amazon is bringing a new 700,000-square-foot facility to Stone Mountain. They’ll be looking for 1,000 full-time workers.

Hiring will begin Monday, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Amazon spokeswoman Rachel Lighty said the warehouse is expected to be operational before the start of the holiday season, but no date has been identified.

The new warehouse will be the first Amazon distribution center in Georgia to utilize state-of-the-art robotics technology.
