Atlanta Murder Suspect Nabbed In South Carolina: FBI
The shooting victim's body was found in a car at the Mall at Stonecrest, say authorities.

ATLANTA, GA — The FBI announced Thursday that a fugitive wanted for the killing of an Atlanta man last month was apprehended Thursday in Charleston, S.C. Working with the Atlanta Police Department, FBI agents arrested Purcious Smith, 29, without incident, the bureau said.
The Atlanta police charged Smith with felony murder and armed robbery in connection with the Oct. 17 shooting death of Sergio Collins, 27.
Smith is being held in Charleston and awaiting extradition proceedings to return him to Atlanta on those charges, the FBI said.

The authorities said that the shooting took place in the 200 block of Elm Street in Atlanta. Three days later, Collins was found shot to death inside his car in a parking lot at the Mall at Stonecrest, in Lithonia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
