Election 2015: Jackson Reelected in a Landslide as Lithonia Mayor

Also: DeKalb easily passes new ethics reforms, while Tucker becomes the newest metro Atlanta city.

Deborah Jackson easily won reelection to another term as Lithonia mayor in Tuesday’s election.

Also, Steve Wells was reelected to the Stone Mountain city council, while Chakira Johnson defeated Judy Asher in the post 3 election.

DeKalb voters also overwhelmingly approved an overhaul of the county’s ethics regulations, while Tucker voters chose to become DeKalb’s newest city.

And a bid to create what would have become DeKalb’s largest city, Lavista Hills, fell short.
