Flowers for Mother's Day-

This is a special day. Mother’s mean everything to everyone. Life, love, care, tenderness, patience and the capacity to forgive. For those fortunate to have mothers still with them, you are indeed blessed.

Don’t take them for granted. Celebrate their greatness not for just one day, but each moment we have. They are irreplaceable treasures.

On the day set aside to honor them-Mother’s Day-it’s traditional to honor them with flowers, a nice card, a dinner they don’t have to prepare.

These are doable now in stark contrast to a year ago when health and safety concerns took precedence over gatherings.

Why not give flowers that last and get lovelier with age? A painting.

Here’s just a few originals from the studio of Olivia Thomason. They explode with bursts of color and like their living counterparts, brighten up a room.

I’ve found them to be an antidote to boredom and depression. Flowers, whether on a grand canvas or in a vase, serve as reminders that we are meant to be happy.
