Gospel of Faith Hosts Summer Stage Play 'Jaded'
The play about family values and facing your fears will be performed Saturday night in Decatur.

Gospel of Faith Worship Center in Decatur has shifted its teaching arena from the pulpit to the stage.
“Jaded” is a coming-of-age stage play about faith, family values, and facing your fears. Actors Dajour Ashwood and Danee’ta Shine portray long-time loves Daniel and Jade as they prepare for their wedding day.

According to a news release, the play delivers a sobering view of love and why it’s of the utmost importance to trust God and acknowledge him in all your ways. Watch Daniel and Jade’s relationship unfold before your eyes as skeletons come out of the closet one by one.
“Jaded” will have its second show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

While the play does not use profanity, it includes some violence and strong language.
The drama by playwright and actress Niata Key is presented by N. Key Productions and Divine Vision, the drama ministry led by Key at Gospel of Faith.
Gospel of Faith Worship Center is located at 3897 Covington Highway in Decatur. Tickets cost $20 in advance.
