Lithonia resident joins rapidly expanding national mortgage company

Tawanna Evans plays vital role; clients benefit from experience

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Tawanna Evans a Closer/Funder. She was introduced to the mortgage industry in 1996, when she started working for a document preparation company.

“As a loan closer/funder, Tawanna makes sure the closing between the client and lender are completed successfully,” says Dan Smith, President of PrivatePlus, “which is a vital role both behind the scenes and on the front lines.”

After three years with the “doc prep” company, Evans began working for a mortgage lender as a Closer/Post closer. Through her nearly 20 years’ experience, she has gained significant experience preparing closing documents and auditing files.

“I believe in giving great customer service with a smile and making sure the closing for the client runs smoothly,” she says. “It’s a great feeling to know that the client is happy after a successful closing.”

A native of Atlanta, Evans lives in Lithonia with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Out of the office she loves reading, arts and crafts, planning parties and spending time with family and friends. She also dedicates her time to the March of Dimes in support of premature babies.
