The New Life Church of Lithonia is planning to open in the area with its first service on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at 2 p.m.
It will be held at 1063 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain.
Led by Michael and Arlene Thomas, a couple from Detroit, New Life Church of Lithonia "desires to operate with integrity and accountability while providing a family atmosphere of love and support," a press release stated.
