'Outlook On DeKalb' To Be Given Twice By County CEO In March
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond is scheduled to deliver two State of the County addresses in March.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond is scheduled to give two State of the County addresses in March. According to officials, he is expected to share his outlook for 2020.
The first one is a ticketed luncheon hosted by the Council for Quality Growth and DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. It is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, 2000 Airport Road, in Chamblee. Register for the luncheon, online.
Business leaders and other community partners are invited. Tickets are $65 for Chamber members and $85 for non-members. Registration is required.

The second event is at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 19. Thurmond will deliver the State of the County Address to the community at the Lou Walker Senior Center, 2538 Panola Rd., in Lithonia.
The evening State of the County event is free and open to the public.
