Score Discounted Craft Beer in Decatur on Small Business Saturday

Serving Decatur’s craft brew community since May 2013, Taps Craft Beers and Growlers plans to offer $2 off any 32-ounce growler fill and $4 off any 64-ounce growler fill this Saturday, Nov. 29, in honor of Small Business Saturday.

With over 40 craft and specialty beers on tap for growler fills and more than 200 types of pre-packaged beers, the wide selection at Taps includes seasonal beers and limited releases, along with popular favorites.

Its knowledgeable staff and extensive selection makes Taps a haven for craft beer experts and newcomers alike. The shop will even let customers test free samples of any draught beer to help find the perfect brew.

Along with bi-monthly events exclusive to members of its rewards program, Taps hosts free craft beer tastings from local breweries in the Southeast region. This season saw tastings of brews like Baltimore’s Stillwater Debutante and selections from Atlanta brewery Orpheus Brewing.

Though they pre-fill each of their growlers with carbon dioxide to preserve its freshness for two to four weeks, Taps reminds customers that, similar to a typical bottled beer, growlers won’t stay fresh once opened.

Located at 1248 Clairmont Road in Decatur, Taps Craft Beers and Growlers is open Monday through Sunday, until 9 or 10 p.m. most nights. Customers can find their schedule online.
