Suspects Arrested in Stone Mountain Man's Death

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation made two overnight arrests related to the murder of 23-year-old Alpha Oumar Diallo.


Police arrested two suspects overnight on charges related to the death of a Stone Mountain man whose body was found on Georgia Perimeter College's campus earlier this week.

Channel 2 Action News reported that Christopher Shepard and Constance Mason were arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation early Thursday morning.

Both live on North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston.

Shepard, 28, was charged with one count of murder, and Mason, 44, was charged with false statements. Both are being held at the DeKalb County Jail.

Both charges are in connection to the death of 23-year-old Alpha Oumar Diallo. His body was found June 10 on the GPC Clarkston Campus on North Indian Creek Drive.

Alpha Oumar Diallo, 23, died of strangulation and blunt force injuries, lived in the Stone Mountain area. His body was found on June 10 on Georgia Perimeter College's Clarkston campus on North Indian Creek.
