The DeKalb Board of Education will hold a called meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11 at the DeKalb County School System's Administrative & Instructional Complex, 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain. More information can be seen online.
The DeKalb 2014 Transportation Plan is holding a meeting Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn & Suites (Mall at Stonecrest) 7850 Stonecrest Square in Lithonia. (On MARTA: #86, 111, 116).
The Stephenson Jaguars enter the Class AAAAA state playoffs as the No. 3 seed out of Region 6-AAAAA and must travel to Flowery Branch, the No. 2 seed from Region 8-AAAAA, in a 7:30 p.m. game on Friday, Nov. 15.
