Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle In DeKalb: Report

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- DeKalb County police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning, authorities said. The incident occurred at North Hairston Road near Fellsridge Court, DeKalb officials told local media.

A Volvo on North Hairston was approaching Central Drive when the woman “darted out into the roadway,” DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
