1 Dead In Schaumburg Crash That Left SUV Wrapped Around Tree
Police took another man into custody following the accident Wednesday night.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — One person was killed following a Wednesday night two-vehicle accident that left an SUV wrapped around a tree in Schaumburg, the Daily Herald reports. Another individual was taken into custody by police, but no charges had been filed as of Thursday morning, the report added.
The crash between a sedan and an SUV happened in the 500 block of Schaumburg Road, the report stated. Investigators shut down the road between Summit Drive and Plum Grove Road, the report added.
Paramedics took a seriously hurt person to Elk Grove Village's Alexian Brothers Medical Center. The individual was later pronounced dead, according to the Herald.
