This summer, discover the Place where you can be a Maker, and join us at the Makerplace, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library's new makerspace and center for hands-on experiential learning.
Opening at 112 N. Belmont Avenue, near Recreation Park this summer, the Makerplace provides visitors ages 12 and up a unique opportunity for making and creating, using the latest technology and creative equipment, along with flexible workspaces and a commercial-grade kitchen. Once open, visit anytime to explore the space, try something new or bring a project from home and use the open workspaces.

Appointments are not required, but will be available on our website in the coming months. Tours begin the week of August 1. Classes begin the week of August 10. Opening events and dates will be announced July 1.
