Arlington Heights PD Hold 'Cop on a Rooftop' Fundraiser

From the Arlington Heights Police Department: Members of the Arlington Heights Police Department (AHPD) will be participating in the Cop on a Rooftop event on Friday May 19th, 2017 at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 1010 E. Rand Road in Arlington Heights. It is a fun and unique way to help raise funds to support Special Olympics athletes.

2017 marks the 15th Anniversary of the Dunkin’ Donuts Cop on Rooftop event with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. This event has been a huge success over the years; in fact, nearly $3.2 million has been raised during this great partnership!

This year’s Cop on Rooftop event will be held statewide on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. In 2016, 234 locations participated and raised more than $670,000. Help us keep this positive momentum going by joining this statewide initiative and participate at your local Dunkin’ Donuts store!

Members of the Arlington Heights Police Department have been participating in this event all fifteen years; and participate in other events for Special Olympics throughout the year including the Law Enforcement Torch Run, Plane Pull, Tip a Cop, Polar Plunge and Brave Basketball Challenges.
