Arlington Heights Police Seeking Information Relating to Deceased Man
On Friday, August 23, 50-year-old Arlington Heights resident Scott Verden was discovered deceased in a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of E. Park Street.
The Arlington Heights Police Department is asking the public for information on the activities and whereabouts of 50-year-old Scott Verden, prior to him being discovered dead inside of a car on Friday, August 23 at 4:02 p.m.
The car was discovered in the 2100 block of Park Street near Phelps Avenue, according to a release from the Arlington Heights Police Department.
Verden was pronounced dead, after paramedics determined he was beyond all medical assistance, the release stated.

An autopsy performed Saturday by the Cook County Medical Examiner did not determine the cause of death, and police say pending toxicology tests could take several weeks.
There were no signs of foul play, the release states, and no safety concerns for the local community.
