ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police released photos Wednesday from a bank robbery that happened earlier this month in Arlington Heights.
At around 3:28 p.m., April 7, a man entered the Jewel-based TCF Bank branch in the 1800 block of S. Arlington Heights Road, according to Special Agent Siobhan Johnson, public affairs officer for the FBI's Chicago Division.

The suspect verbally demanded money from a teller and implied that they had a weapon, Johnson told Patch. The man was described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build, in his late 30s to early 40s, wearing a black-and-white baseball cap with writing, a dark-colored facial covering, a long, green-sleeved t-shirt with writing on the back, khaki cargo shorts, gray socks and black gym shoes. Police said the man fled by car.
