Bill, Hillary Clinton In Arlington Heights For Funeral
One of Hillary Clinton's close friends, Betsy Ebeling, died of breast cancer at age 72.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Bill and Hillary Clinton made a low-key visit to Arlington Heights over the weekend to pay their respects to Hillary's long-time friend, Betsy Ebeling, who died following a battle with breast cancer, the Daily Herald reports. The two grew up five blocks from each other in Park Ridge and Ebeling was the matron of honor at the Clintons' wedding and a delegate at the 2016 Democratic National Convention while Clinton delivered the 1995 Hersey High School commencement speech for Ebeling's son's graduating class.
Ebeling's memorial service was an invitation-only event held at the Metropolis in Arlington Heights on Saturday, according to the article. Bill and Hillary Clinton visited with Ebeling's husband, Tom, and her family on Sunday before heading back to New York.
