Blowing Man May Have Been Trying To Drug Woman At Mall: Cops

The woman told police she felt dizzy after a man blew in her direction Monday at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — A woman shopping at Woodfield Mall told Schaumburg police Monday that a man might have tried drugging after blowing in her direction, according to the Daily Herald. The woman was not hurt in the incident, and investigators don't believe there's a threat to the public, the report added.

According to police, the incident happened between 2 and 3:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, as the woman was coming out of a mall store, the report stated. That's when a man approached her and blew at her, the report added.

The woman says she began feeling dizzy and lightheaded after the man blew at her, but she didn't notice any foreign substance or smell in the air, the report stated. She refused medical attention following the incident, the report added.
