Call Of Gunshots Fired In Arlington Heights Was A Hoax: Police

Police said there was no danger to the community despite the Thursday morning call.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police said a phone call they received of gunshots being fired at a residence was a hoax and no shots were fired. The Arlington Heights Police Department said it received the call at around 10:44 a.m. Thursday regarding a house near Greenwood Avenue and Rand Road.

Police said there was never any danger to the community.
