Dean's, President's Lists Students Named for UA Spring 2021 Term

A total of 11,813 students enrolled during the spring 2021 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean's List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President's List with academic records of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load. Local students include:

Hailey Bowes Earns Degree At Ohio University

Hailey Bowes, from Arlington Heights, graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biological Sciences - Marine, Freshwater, and Environmental Biology from the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University. More than 4,800 students graduated with bachelor's, master's or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for spring semester 2021. Bowes was also named to the dean's list for the spring semester.

University of Iowa spring semester president's list honorees announced

More than 1,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2021 spring semester. In order to be included on the list, a student must have a minimum 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an A) in all academic subjects for the fall 2020 semester, and a minimum of nine graded hours with a 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an A) in all academic subjects for the spring 2021 semester. Kevin Cascino, of Arlington Heights, has earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Cascino was among approximately 4,435 undergraduate and graduate students who earned their degrees during the Spring 2021 semester and were recognized during the Institute's 260th Commencement exercises May 7-8, 2021, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
