Coronavirus Vaccine Event Planned Wednesday In Arlington Heights
Doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are available by appointment to all Illinois residents 16 and up at the Arlington Ridge Center.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Residents of Illinois will have another local opportunity to get the coronavirus vaccine this week. All residents 16 and over can receive the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine — with an appointment — between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Arlington Ridge Center, 660 N Ridge Ave. The second dose for those that receive a shot this week is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19.
The Arlington Heights Park District, Village of Arlington Heights and the Arlington Heights Memorial Library have partnered up with Jewel-Osco for the event.

This vaccination event is by appointment only– no drop-ins will be allowed. Telephone registration is not available for this vaccination event.
- Pfizer vaccine will be administered.
- You will not be able to enter the building until your scheduled appointment time.
- Have the consent form completed in advance - you will find this in the response email you will receive from Albertson’s (the vaccine distribution company) after you book your appointment. IF you do not see the email from Albertsons then check your Spam Mail or your ALL Mail folders for the email confirmation from Albertsons.
- Individuals that are 16 and 17 years of age will need a parent’s signature on the consent form and have a parent/guardian present to receive a vaccination.
- Wear vaccine appropriate clothing (short sleeves) and face covering to expedite the process.
- For all appointments, bring your Medicare/insurance card and drivers’ license.
