Eros Restaurant Closes After 35 Years In Arlington Heights
The longtime village eatery's owners and staff thanked their customers during the business' last day Sunday.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Eros Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlour, a longtime Arlington Heights staple, has closed its doors. The eatery at 818 E Kensington Road had called Arlington Heights home for the past 35 years.
Eros' last day in business was Sunday, Oct. 28, according to the Arlington Cardinal. Although it closed a couple hours early, diners were able to eat at the restaurant one last time, and the owners and staff thanked them — many of them friends and longtime supporters — for their support over the years, the report stated. Some diners even helped finish off the restaurant's ice cream earlier in the day, the report added.
A handwritten sign is now posted on the eatery's front door: "We thank you for your business of 35 years!"
